My name is Pablo Luz Pedemonte, I am a Chilean/Italian guy. Originally a mechanical engineer, but progressively working with Solar systems! I am a professional renewable energies engineer, an enthusiast outdoor life and several other activities!. Currently working in a Danish company as PV Designer, providing solutions and fabricating reliable green energy supply sources for those who need it!.
By mid 2017 I started by supporting designs with PVSyst and AutoCAD for on-roof projects in Chile. From then it has been nonstop use of the software for real applications. By 2020 started using SketchUP for the preview of the projects and Homer PRO for hybrid applications. By 2022 started using PVSOL executing detailed simulations.
From the experience acquired working in different types of compounds and clients requirements, I have developed strong tools to quantify and predict the behaviour, and financial analyses, such as cashflows, of solar system designs in various locations. Able to adapt almost any raw-data formats, producing good-looking presentations and reliable results to build strong commercial cases.
Strong experience in the technical side of the O&M of the plants. Performance measurement, I/V Curves, Thermography of panels and electrical equipment. Able to work with different communication protocols (Modbus, DLMS) communication between inverters, meters, sensors, inverters, dataloggers and protection devices.
An intermediate level of programming (Python and VBA Excel macros), and Microsoft Office tools for data presentation and reports handling.
